How to Fill Your Template Sheet With Text and Images

If you’d like to add text and insert images to your entire sheet of printer labels from The Shipping Store, here are the steps you’ll take. We are working in Microsoft Word through this article, but the concepts apply across all programs.

How to Insert Text

Follow these steps to insert text into your label sheet.

Step One: Add Your Text

  1. Insert your text into the first label and select Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac) to copy your selection.
  2. If you’re having trouble reaching the text underneath the label shape, you can select all shapes by holding Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and right click > Send to Back > Send Behind Text.
  3. You can also press Del to delete the label outlines, leaving you with the dashed line of the template beneath.

Step Two: Copy and Paste Text to All Labels

  1. Click each label individually and hold Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac) to paste your selection. Repeat until all labels are filled.

Step Two: Insert Image
